ASUS Republic of Gamers today announced the opening of its Unlock the ROG Lab event in Cologne, Germany. The event features the launch of a limited-edition ROG Matrix GeForce RTX™ 5090 in celebration of 30 years of cutting-edge ASUS graphics card innovation. In addition to this milestone, a host of other new ROG gaming products were on display, including next-gen Tandem OLED monitors, a PC controller, and routers, as well as an eye-catching line of Hatsune Miku-inspired products.

In celebration of three decades of graphics card innovation, the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 builds on the technologies that made previous ASUS cards standout options for PC hardware enthusiasts. This high-performance card is powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and features revolutionary DLSS 4 technology, plus a quad-fan design boosting airflow and pressure by up to 20%. A patented vapor chamber with a milled heat spreader delivers lower GPU temperatures to enable optimum GPU performance, and liquid metal thermal compound supports more efficient GPU cooling and a higher boost clock. In addition, a 3-ounce copper layer enhances heat dissipation and creates fewer voltage drops across the PCB to boost overclocking and stability.
