In this review, we work on the ASUS V400 AiO, ASUS' 24-inch All-in-One Desktop PC.
WHAT'S INSIDE
The box includes the all-in-one desktop PC with the stand already attached. The base is packed separately. You’ll also find a box with a basic ASUS mouse and keyboard, and underneath that are the power adapter and power cord.
The packaging is plain brown box with plastic styro foam that secures the all-in-one pc in place.
LOOKS AND DESIGN
The first thing we notice about the V400 AiO is the slim profile. Compared to previous generations of AiO's we see on business establisments, the V400 stands out as it is comparable to 2 iPhone 15 Pro stacked together.
We also noticed that it’s slightly taller than usual. While the height isn’t adjustable, the screen can tilt roughly around 25 degrees backward and 5 degrees forward.
There are also minimal design on the V400, notably the "Designed by ASUS" at the base, the "ASUS" logo at the chin and back.
On top is where the exhaust located, this is where the ventilation of the ASUS V400 is and so far it did a good job as we test the unit with games.
The top area is also the place for it's retractable camera that was said to be FHD but based on our testing it wasn't. These are typical to laptops as well, though the retractable design is sleek and making it stealthy. We actually thought that it is a mechanical camera that open up once you turned on the camera on windows but unfortunately it isn't.
The IO ports at the back are very basic, you will find the following:
- 1x HDMI-in port (if ever you want the AiO to be an extra monitor for you)
- 1x HDMI-out port (if ever you want to have additional monitor for your AiO)
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1x LAN port
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C
For the stand, the design is sleek as mentioned, it does include a cable management area though the only thing we feel lacking is - it's capability to be mounted. It would have been better if they added a vesa mounting of 100mm x 100mm for those users who prefer to have it mounted on a monitor arm.

As we try the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM with the specs above, we can say that it can definitely do more than just office work. You can also do light gaming or esports title games such as Dota 2, Valorant and CS 2.
DISPLAY
One of the significant feature we notice is the display as the 24-inch monitor of the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM, the bezel is thinner compared to other AiOs in the market that results to wider display area.
We are also surprise about the refresh rate of the monitor as it has 100hz already. It only means that the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM can play games, and we are not dissappointed as we tried it.
When it comes to color and image quality, the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM suprisingly has a more vivid color that most monitor screens in the market, this is because of the 100% sRGB color space and 300 nits brightness.
The refresh rate of the monitor/display is also accurate with what the specs mentioned which is 100hz.
PERFORMANCE AND BENCHMARKS

GAME BENCHMARK
We did try the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM on esports title games such as Dota 2 and Valorant and here are the results.
For Valorant, we were able to achived playable fps on low and medium settings, however on Dota 2 that currently has more graphics settings, we only achieved 34 fps on medium settings and a playable 75 on low settings.
CONCLUSION
The ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM is a decent all-in-one desktop PC that can do multiple tasks and even e-sports title games. AiOs are typically used for small businesses or companies that requires small footprint on their devices and it's competitor are the Mini PCs.
AiOs such as the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM is a great device for those users that uses regular tasks such as school works and apps, virtual assistant applications and even BPO apps. We can also see AiO on retails business such as coffee shops and small grocery stores, the only additional features that is lacking is the touch capability for it's display.
The price of the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM is PHP 46,995 which is a bit higher for the specs.
We will be giving the ASUS V440VAK-BPC045WSM a Class B Rank as it can do multi-task apps and games, with better wifi connection and retractable camera but what give us the plus is the display which has more vivid color and image along with it's 100hz refresh rate.
